📱 Mobile App Enhancements
We’ve made several improvements to improve speed, usability, and field usability:
- Reviewed records can no longer be incorrectly edited via mobile or timesheet screens, improving data integrity.
- Added a “favourite” star in dropdown lists, allowing commonly used items to always appear at the top.
- New mobile shortcut (coming soon): copy previous day’s timesheet into the selected day via the + menu.
- Added favourites support for:
- Supervisors list
- Custom timesheet fields
- Improved project item filtering so inactive projects are no longer sent to mobile apps.
- Performance improvements for mobile data retrieval and paging.
- Mobile messaging and caching improvements to ensure reliable sync and notifications.
- Signature capture support foundation built for future mobile rollout.
💰 Multi-Currency & Financial Enhancements
A major new capability has been introduced: full multi-currency support across invoicing and payments.
- Invoices now fully support mixed currency WIP, billing, collections, and payments.
- Ability to assign and change a project’s billing currency (when enabled).
- Exchange rate engine introduced with daily historical rate tracking.
- Payments now store both:
- Invoice currency value
- System base currency value
- Weekly timesheet view now includes a currency column (where enabled).
- Project-level discount % and description now automatically apply invoice-level adjustments.
Result: Full support for international billing, improved financial accuracy, and easier global project management.
🧾 Timesheets, Leave & Calendar Improvements
We’ve enhanced usability and control across time entry and leave:
- Timesheet calendar now displays error messages when saving or updating records.
- Leave calendar upgraded with:
- Filter options
- Annual view
- Improved usability and layout
- Leave request form redesigned for clarity (now two-column layout instead of a long single column).
- Added ability to:
- Select multiple leave approvers using company tree workflow
- Show “Authorised” intermediate approval status
- Ensure leave requests remain flexible even after partial processing
- Leave entitlement logic improved:
- Handles accruals from MYOB (daily or weekly)
- Prevents blocked leave requests when no entitlement exists (where configured)
- Leave audit logging now records created and deleted timesheet entries.
Result: More flexible leave handling with clearer visibility and fewer workflow restrictions.
✅ Approvals, Authorisation & Workflow Enhancements
- Major upgrade to company tree-based approval workflows, now supporting multiple approvers per group.
- Approvers are now selectable at time of leave request (where configured).
- Daily sign-off and approval screens improved for accuracy and performance.
- Fixed issues where approval status changes were not applying correctly under multi-step workflows.
- Improved reviewer visibility and filtering across approval screens.
- “Request Review” button now functions correctly from export screen workflows.
- Supervisor visibility expanded to include full sign-off group access.

- Full batch record visibility

- Assignar integration improved for asset usage and project imports.
- Payroll export validation improved with better error messaging and logging.
- Ability to delete auto-imported entitlement records added.

- Session security strengthened with automatic logout for faulty sessions.
- User account lock system now includes progressive unlock timing (15/30/60 mins).
- Employee number enforcement introduced (unique per user).
- Inactive users are now blocked from entering timesheets.
- Improved API restrictions for sensitive user fields.
- Web service calls reduced and migrated to internal code for security hardening.
- System now supports disabling service processing at site level.
