- The V4 Rules Engine has been significantly optimised, with processing speeds now 5–10x faster in many cases.
- Bill rate updates and adjustments now perform more efficiently, even with millions of rate records.
- Upgraded to Engine Version 18.0, with improved error recovery, global logging, and better handling of single-timesheet updates.
- Added new indexes and session handling improvements to deliver faster screen loads and smoother performance across the platform.
- Enhanced Review and Approval screens for greater responsiveness, even on large data sets.

🔒 Security & Infrastructure Enhancements
- Extensive security hardening across APIs, removing legacy web service calls and improving XSS (cross-site scripting) protection.
- Automatic user account unlock mechanism introduced – accounts unlock progressively after 15, 30, or 60 minutes depending on lock history.
- AuthKey removal when a password is changed or a user is made inactive, ensuring mobile users cannot access the system after deactivation.
- Upgraded all Microsoft OWIN packages and removed server-injected headers to improve authentication stability.
- Added session-expired auto-logoff and clear on-screen notifications when your session times out.
- SOAP API retired for MYOB Acumatica integrations to align with current security standards.

- The award interpretation process now includes:
- A second-pass review to catch missed records.
- Enhanced handling of paid/unpaid breaks, RDOs, and minimum hours paid settings.
- New ability to filter consecutive shift rules by daily allowance inclusion/exclusion.
- Enhanced Worked Between and Started In logic for allowance processing.
- Ability to manually override award-interpreted records directly from the UI.
- Auditing of award-processed data now includes rule-set names, process timestamps, and parent record tracing.
- Improved holiday and work pattern publishing – faster, clearer logs and automatic recovery if an error occurs.
- Automatic reprocessing lock now detects if a process crashes and self-resets after 20 minutes.

💼 Timesheets, Leave & Daily Sign-Off Improvements
- Introduced Project Item Groups, enabling administrators to control which project items each user can access.
- Inactive users can no longer submit timesheets.
- Enhanced daily sign-off and approval logic – supervisors now see all relevant records for their sign-off groups.
- Leave request improvements:
- Modify individual days in a leave request even after partial export to payroll.
- Republish approved leave requests that failed to create timesheet entries.
- Adjust start/end times for remaining unpaid leave days.
- Re-submit rejected leave where locked timesheet records exist.
- Added Weekly Summary Hours to the timesheet calendar footer for quick visibility.
- New Deleted Records screen lets you view timesheet records created and then removed during a given week.

- Corrected RDO handling, pay item mapping, and user import matching.
- New checks ensure synced records in MYOB exactly match expected data, automatically resubmitting discrepancies.
- Improved logging, retry, and audit detail for all DataSync activity.
- Decreased retries for failed syncs from 10 to 5, improving processing throughput.
- Added the ability to manually initiate Procore DataSync and to delete Procore-related records safely.
- Added manual export confirmation pop-ups to prevent accidental exports.
- Expanded Payroll Metrics export details for better traceability and error resolution.

- Added colour support in the Leave Diary and new intuitive display for part-day vs full-day records.
- Settings screen now displays server build date and session timeout information.
- Enhanced search screens, dropdown sorting, and filtering for better usability throughout the app.
- Error handling reinstated across all JavaScript functions for stability and smoother user experience.

- Sites can now be set to manual updates only, allowing you to control when upgrades occur (security patches are still auto-applied).
- ParentID and MobileGUID added to audit and timesheet entities for stronger cross-record traceability.

- Ability to toggle award record auditing on or off as required.
- Expanded logging of failed logins, session expirations, and error recovery detail.
