TimeSite Pro enables you to set up multiple companies within your single TimeSite Pro account. Each company can have different configuration settings in the Settings screen, and can separate clients, projects and users in the Admin screen. You can specify that one company is the master company or that each company in your account is independent and can therefore have different configuration settings.

Company Settings
You can enable this multi-company feature using Settings > System Settings > Features > Your company settings > Enable multiple companies. You can then specify which company is to be the master company via Settings > System Settings > Features > This is the master company.
The name of the initial company created is the Company Name in Settings > Company Setup.
If you enable a master company, then only administrators of the master company have access to other companies in your multi-company account. Administrator in these secondary companies can only access the company in which their user record is recorded.
Creating and Selecting Different Companies
You will see a pulldown item at the top of the sidebar menu that allows you to create a new company or select an existing company.
When you select Create a new company in the pulldown field, you will be taken to the Create a new company screen to define this new company's initial settings include [1] a unique Company Name. You can copy the configuration setting from your initial company [2]. We recommend that you spend some time to ensure that your initial company is configured in a standard fashion that can be applied to all subsequent companies that you set up.
If you have specified a master company, then TimeSite Pro will reference the name of the master company in Settings > System Settings > Features > Your company settings.
Navigating Between Companies
The Select a company pulldown menu appears on the Settings, Admin and Import screens to enable administrators to easily move between different companies in your TimeSite Pro account. When you move to another company in the Admin screen for the first time, you'll be reminded to set up a new project in the new company.
If you are in the Export screen, for example, and you want to move to another company, then you will need to go back to the Settings or Admin screens to select the company that you want to use in the Export screen.
An administrator in a non-master company will not be able to navigate to any other company in your TimeSite Pro account. They are, in effect, locked to the company that records their user record. Only administrators in the master company can navigate to other companies in your account. This restriction doesn't exist if you've not specified a master company.
Export to Payroll & Accounting Packages
TimeSite Pro supports different export payroll and invoice mappings when using a multiple company configuration. For example, you can have different payroll category mappings for each company in Settings > Export Timesheets > Payroll Mapping. Note that you may have to disconnect from one company-specific login and connect to another company login in your payroll system. Contact the TimeSite Support team to discuss your particular requirements when first configuring your payroll and invoice export configuration as this can vary from vendor to vendor.
